These Days, the End is Always Near

Five days ago we left our old world to step into a new adventure going West, to the USA.
We enjoyed our flight till the moment the stewardess grapped hectically all the stuff around and the pilot had turned the machine for an emergency landing in New Jersey, because smoke was discovered under his seat.

Fortunately, Linus slept deeply and peacefully and had noticed nothing of the whole spectacle. While I was highly awake and preparing myself inwardly for the worst.
Previously during the flight, I've had read an article about the Apocalypse in Hollywood movies: These Days, the End is Always Near
Luckily, the damage could be repaired on site at Newark Airport, New Jersey.
So finally with a delay of 3.5 hours and a max. flight time of 13.5 hours, we landed safely at the International Airport Houston in Texas.
