Lift your Spirit

Erma Lee’s house should to be considered as a weird home, but I think it’s an artist studio.
“I believe that the skill of knowing who you are is very important and loving who you are will help anyone be successful in life. As a visionary artist my skill comes from listening to the inner voice within and trusting that what I am doing now is my purposed journey.”
Having recently visited the Menil's exhibition As essential as dreams, I see Erma Lee in line with other self thought artistsIt was a pleasure for me getting in contact with her amazing ‘Iron wall divas’. Hopefully Erma Lee’s work will get the recognition from the art world, which it deserves.

Weird Homes

Houston, as always, is very inspiring and there are more weird places as you might think of. For one day only, some of those houses had opened their doors to the public.
The historic Wehnert house is probably one of my favorite homes, filled with lots of artwork form self thought artists.

Another artist house / studio is home of Beverly and Wayne Gilbert

The warehouse of Dawn Fudge

A very bizarre location, the place above notsuoh

In the south of Houston is the home of Bonnie Blue, the women that rocks
