Things I do not expected in a post office, a bunch of flowers (because of an anniversary) and a gorgeous selection of stamps. And it gets even better when Batman will stick on a postcard.

Nature Spirits
Motivated by the Big Bang Theory we took a stroll trough the Amazing Houston Comic Con, which enabled us to discover and meet some little fictional characters.

A Ranger by my Side
"Yellowstone Park was established in 1872 as America's first national park—an idea that spread worldwide. A mountain wildland, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk, the park is the core of one of the last, nearly intact, natural ecosystems in the Earth’s temperate zone." Yellowstone park seemed for us like the 'Disneyland of nature spectacles'. Unfortunately wildlife was hidden during our tour. Instead we've often met a ranger on our way. And we definitely enjoyed the feminist ranger talk.

Yellowstone - the Great and Powerful
We explored a wonderland of a collection of geysers, mud pots, hot springs and fumaroles, steam vents and sulfurous pools. Norris Geyser Basin was our favorite geothermal area in Yellowstone Park. Steam was always around and smell of sulfur in the air.

Moonscape
Very happy at Spiral Jetty. At this time the water level of Great Salt Lake was very low and we had the possibility to walk through Robert Smithson's earthwork as well on the lake itself. We felt like being on the moon, no sound, no bird no wind was to hear - absolute silence. For us a stunning experience. Robert Smithson portrayed Spiral Jetty in a film made in 1970.

On the other side of the magazine, outside the window, Utah's landscape turns into geographical eye candy.

Pleasure on Earth I
There is no greater pleasure as to have a view into SkyMall magazine
while being in an airplane. A bunch of creativity and humor.
